An authentic West African mask featuring an Adinkra symbol. This mask is hand carved out of Sese wood by master Ghanaian artisan Theophilus Sackey. The mask is embellished with aluminum and alludes to ritualistic African scarification. Our In The Heavens mask features an Adinkra Nyame Biribi Wo Soro symbol on its forehead. Nyame Biribi Wo Soro is a symbol of hope and reminds the viewer that God's dwelling place is in the heavens, where he can listen to all prayers. It measures 17.25 inches (Height) x 5.25 inches (Length) x 2.4 inches (Diameter).
